Phillip Gregory Burke is an award winning actor, playwright and producer. He is a current Bandung & Art House INKubator Resident, and 2025 Fresh Ground Pepper Fellowship recipient. With his group DIEZ, he won the 2024-2025 National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures Fund For the Arts Grant. His play, A Mercy at Midnight Castle, won the 49th Annual Samuel French Off-Off Broadway Festival, placing number 1 out of 850 worldwide submissions, and is published by Concord Theatricals. Other plays: He’s The First, the inaugural winner of the Improbable Fiction New Works Series at Wisconsin Shakespeare Festival, top 13 finalist, out of 850 submissions, for The 48th Annual Samuel French Off-Off Broadway Festival, 2023 Semi-finalist for The Obsidian Theater Festival and available on All Arts/PBS.
